OUR STORY SINCE 1992
History
Sky Martial Arts has been teaching Taekwondo in the Bay Area since 1992, growing to five locations worldwide and over 1,000 students. We don't just focus on kicking and punching — we emphasize mental discipline, personal and academic development, and the values of respect, integrity, and perseverance. Under the expert tutelage of World Champion and 9th Dan Black Belt Dr. Jun Yoon, alongside his internationally-certified instructors, the Sky program has produced 2 World Championship medalists, 12 US National Team Members, 18 US National Champions, 20+ CA State Champions, and thousands of confident, disciplined Martial Artists.

The Legacy Continues
Kukkiwon-certified 6th Dan Black Belt and US National Champion, one of SKY's most decorated competitors in both poomsae and sparring. A UC Berkeley graduate with over 20 years of teaching experience, he leads high-level training in Sport Poomse and Olympic Sparring while emphasizing traditional Martial Arts manner and Korean culture.
Under Master Andrew Yoon's leadership, the next generation of Sky students inherits the same lineage that built world champions — refined by twenty years of teaching, and a relentless commitment to the traditional Korean roots of the art.
